Superscope Film To Be Shown at Pickwick Entering the already turgid waters of projection ratios for the motion pictures. Superscope is the latest in design, and is the method used in “Veru Cruz” showing at the Pickwick next week. Superscope presents a new aspect ratio (sizeof picture that is represented on the screen) is designed to produce more clarity in the image projected to the newly Installed screens across the country. As it began, and still remains, any frame of film can be enlarged by projection almost to infinity if desired. The results were not always good when the image was increased much be yond the old screen sizes. When the enlargement was tpfcessivt the filrrg lost their definition and were fuzzy and difficult to watch. The new film. Vera Cruz, will use the Superscope technique and its enlargement on the Pickwick screen will j be. roughly. 40.000 to 50.000 times.
