Business Women Enjoy Colorful Turkey Dinner . Dewart Inn was the scene TuesjSay of the dinner meeting of the Syracuse Business and Professional Women’s Club. Robert Craig had arranged tables with Colorama ware, red and orange candles in 2- and 3-branch candelabra, mums and cornucopias. Thanksgiving napkins were used and attractive nut cups holding candies were at each place. Frank Bates, president, gave the gavel to Mrs. Rollie Byler, next in line, for practice. Mrs. Byler then presided. A donation of SIO.OO was voted for Retarded Children fund. Mrs. Bates and Mrs. Samuel Larson gave reports as the club’s representatives at planning meetings in Warsaw for the coming Korean Veteran? Day. Sunday 21. November, 2:30 p. m. at the Warsaw high school auditorium. At that time, sponsored by the American Legion and civic organizations. Korean veterans of the county will be honored. Miss Brant, program speaker, is an extensive traveler. She showed .slides of a trip to India, doing the narrating in a get-together fashion. which made friends of her audience, the’pictures showing she had made definite aims at certain views or peope and her try for sunsets was a beautiful success.
