pencils left for sale so hurry, hurry, hurry!! Terry McClintic Rumpus Hut Fun was had by all last Fridayevening ait the Rumpus Hut Halloween Party. Not everyone was in costume but those that were, really looked “out of this world.” Jane Kroh and Abe Nicolai looked real cute with their “gay twenties” costumes. Joe Shewmon and Wayne Nickles looked pretty good as women but better as “men.” The person getting the most laughs was Roddy Laughlin sporting something similar to a bikini bathing suit. Harry Brinkman was “Superman for a Night." I could go on and on. but it would take too long, so next time there is a party at the Rumpus Hut. why not come” Don’t forget membership cards ire on s. le to High School stud.iris. Persons szlhng membership cards are: Seniors. Jane Kroh. Charles Haffner: Juniors. Suzanne Brown. Harry Brinkman: Soph- | xnores, Bea Bachman, Terry Me Ci? <?: Freshman. Susan Klink, Silly Dorsey. The most recent one was that of the Halloween Party held at the “Rumpus Hut” Friday evening, October 22. What a super party! Mr. and Mrs. Jack Clark were present and taught the boys and girls some interesting games and dances. Delicious refreshments of doughnuts, sandwiches and punch were laid out on a long table. Some of the students provided , some unusual entertainment for the rest of the Halloweeners. Joe Shewmon and Dixie Dorsey did a fast version of the “Charleston" nd Lenora Reagan. “Casey Powell. and Kay Adams were attempt.ng to learn the "can-can” when : y fell on hers. In thg later hours of the evening. Mrs. Clark. Jim Connolly, and Harry Brinknan provided amusement by telling fortunes. A most enjoyable fine w s had by all. This reporter noticed quite a ,'ew people around the high school •.st Sunday afternoon. Probably e ’ it was such a beautiful day n ny people stopped to look at be new grade school which is in » \es of construction. It is now xpected that grade school stuents will be able to move in shortly fter Christmas vacation. ’ Tuesday evening. 26 October j the freshman girls Home Econom- j ics class served both basketball! teams and their parents in the' Home Ec room. Recognize this readiness stage so that you do not discourage him . A dependent child lieccmes independent when he teaches the readiness point. When the readiness point is reached, if tine child is kept dependent, he either rebels and takes the independent step himself or holds back and looses interest. Please study your child—thanks.
