Local News The Art and Craft Club met Monday evening at the home of Mrs. Fred Kufkpatrick the lesson was assembling fall corsages. Mrs. Paul Kurkpatrick of Goshen presented the lesson and followed it with a most interesting talk on winter flower arrangment using a display of some of her own prize winning creations. Very delicious g?freshments were served by the host. Mrs. Franklin Rhode of Villa Park, 111. was a guest. The next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Ernest Bushong on November Ist. Whaley’s mother and sister, in South Bend. Ind. Mrs. William H. Edwards of the Yoder Apartments had her neice Mrs. Bernice McKnight and her daughter-in-law Mrs. Herbert McKnight. of Galveston. Indiana, and Mrs. Glenn G. Allen of Lake Wawasee and small daughter Rebecca Gayle, as dinner guests IS October. Mrs. Ray Tucker, children Judi and Ronnie, have returned to Blythe. Howard, has resumed his teaching in Newcastle Industrial Arts in the Senior High School.

Wawasee Lake Mrs. Robert Whaley spent the weekend visiting with her mother and sister, in South Bend, Ind. Mr. and Mrs." Don Musser closed their cottage Friday and left for their home at Lake Worth, Fla. Mrs. Frank Banning and sister, Mrs. Borg from Lansing, Mich., are touring the East visiting friends and relatives. They will spend two days at Washington, D.C. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Knecht and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Dawson attended the Notre Dame-Michigan State game Saturday. Mr and Mrs. Earl Weaver left Friday to spend the winter at Fort Myers, Florida. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Handy spent a few days visiting friends at Indianapolis, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Eiser are speeding the week at Chicago, attending the Furniture Mart. Many of the Anderson, Indiana, folks spent the weekend at their cottages on Rainey Court. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Meyers and daughter Toby; Mr. and Mrs. Russelg Webb and daughter Sandra: Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Webster and Mr. Al Van Meter. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Moore of Indianapolis, spent the past week at their cottage. Mrs. D.W. Louderback returned to at Anderson. On Thursday, Mr. and Mrs. Hastings spent the day at Hammond, Ind., viewing the havoc of the high waters and visiting with Mr. Hastings’ sister, and family, Mr. and Mi's. Claude Homy. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kirpatrick will attend the home-coming at Indiana University. Bloomington. Saturday. They will be seeing the Indiana-lowa football game and will have as their guests.
