Since the Motor Club announced the driver training program in its territory in 1946, the dealers have supplied autos so that 140.000 students benefited from driving instruction. The Chicago Motor Club assists communities and school authorities organizing high school driver, training programs. In cooperation with experienced educators it recommends driver training programs which take high school students from textbook to actual, behind-the-wheel training in dual-con-trolled cars. Under the plan driver training cars are negotiated through local dealers for assignment to schools which have qualified driver training instructors.
