Ebeneaer Ladies Aid Society The Ebeneaer ladies aid society met last Thursday afternoon. Oct. 15, In the home of Mrs. Edna Thomas. Present were 23 members, four children and three guests. Mrs. Belle Shell of Kimmell, Mrs. Mildred Thorn of LaForte said Mrs. Ryland Mock. Mrs. Louis Firestone gave the devotions. Mrs. Thomas and her co-tostesses, Mrs. Sam Houser, Mrs. Frank Banning and Mrs. Firestone served refreshments. The next meeting will be held in the Turkey Creek conservation club house. Art Club The Art club met Monday evening in the home of Mrs. W. E. Long. The lesson consisted of painting Christmas cards. The hostess served refreshments at the close of the evening.

BROWNIE SCOUTS 1 The Brownies met Wednesday (October 14. They ate their trea of Ice cream bars brought b; Mary Jill Thornburg, Susan Ben dor and Melodia Gustafson. Then after roll call the girl. l got Into their special groups anc filled ou' the charts on honit work. Next ’hey formed a horse shot and practiced the flag ceremony and then spent the rest of the meeting singing and dancing. There .will be a fly-up and 4 Girl Scout Investiture. Wednesday. Oct. 28. GIRL SCOUTS Girl Scouts invite their sponsors, the Senior Mothers Club, to Girl Scout Investiture and Brownie Fly Up, to be held on Wednesday night, October 28th, at 7:00 p. m., in the Lutheran Church. There will be some entertainment and refreshments. JUNIOR MOMS Fun and speculation were the results of the Junior Mother’s club Hallowe’en party at the home of Mrs. Avon Bushong. Three prizes were awarded for the best costumes. Mrs. Howard Juday won as the prettiest. Mrs. Dean Pittman, most original, and Mrs. Charles Garner the funniest. Games and contests completed the evening’s entertainment. Refreshments of cider, donuts, popcorn balls and candy were served by the hostess and her assistants. Mr. Dan LeCount, Mr. Raymond Custer, and Mrs. Chas. Garner. The entertainment committee consisted of Mrs. Loren Longenbaugh, Mrs. Max Brower and Mrs. Douglas Pilcher.
