Will Case Heard. Evidence has been heard b y Judge John A. Sloane in circuit court in the action of Mary C. Holloway to contest probate o f the will of her husband, the late Hallie E. Holloway, who died last Dec. 16. She contends that the instrument, dated May 24, 1949, which would leave all property to , two children, Maxine Smith and Stummer, and their husbands, Robert Smith and Herbert Stu.mmer, should be invalidated because Mr. Holloway was of unsound mind and incapable of making a will when the instrument was executed. The beneficiaries and Wade Zerbie, of Syracuse, designated as executor of the estate in the contested instrument, are defendants in the action. The court gave until June 10 for filing of special findings of fact and conclusions of law in the case. WAWASEE LAKE WACO — Mrs. Russell Carr, daughter, Mrs. James Pietro, and Kathy, were the “advance guard” to get their cottage ready for the summer. The rest of the family will come later. They were all in Orlando, Florida, for the winter, and Mrs. Carr asserts she prefers Wawasee to Florida, and is glad to be home, and, from evidence deduced at the time of the above assertion, it’s a safe bet that Wawasee and Syracuse are also glad, the Carrs are home. SOUTH SHORE — .Mrs. Glenn Hoover, and children returned last Saturday from Battle Creek, where they had taken Mrs. Hoover’s mother, Mrs. John Angus, home, after a visit in the Hoover home.
