Mr. Munro and Mr. Muth rendered the special music for the worship service at the Methodist church. Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Hughes, of Fort Wayne, visited Mrs. Hughes’ mother Mrs. Elma Bachman, here Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Nichols and two daughters, of Chicago, were guests from Thursday until Sunday of Mrs. Nichols’ parents. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Riddle. HOME EC. CLITI MEETS The Elkhart County Home Economics Club held a picnic at the Flowing Well north of North Webster Wednesday. July 2nd, with a basket dinner and 23 members, two visitors and 21 children present. /After dinner, the meeting was opened by the vice-president. Ida Snyder. The club creed and prayer was said in unison. A lesson on salads was given by Katherine Hibschman and Erma Blyand.. Roll calk “What does the Fourth of July mean to you.” Song of the month —"America | The Beautiful” and the history of j the song was given by Bessie Mc- , Daniel and sung by the members. Home Economics women go to Camp Mack 9th to 11th of September. The hostesses were: Hattie i Brown, Erma Byland. and Ruth j Nicolai.
