Mr. and Mrs. Edw. Larson attended a birthday dinner Sunday in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Shoemaker of Dutchtown. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brown called Frnday afternoon in the Jonas Cripe home. Mr. and Mrs. Martin McClintic were Warsaw shoppers Friday, Wednesday dinner guests in the Elmo Shock home were Mrs. Deloss Maggart and Mrs. Fred Kuhn and children. Doris Hummel was a caller Saturday in the Jacob Click home. Obituary. Milo Kitson passed from this life November 15, 1939, of heart trouble and pneumonia. He was the father of five children, Dallas, Raymond, Harold and Morris. Morris, a twin, died several years ago. Mark Kitson, father of Milo, died early in life, when Milo was 18 months old. He resided in Syracuse most of his life and was an employee of the B. & O. R. R. Funeral services were held in Garrett and burial was in Fostoria, Ohio. Mrs. Jesse Agnew and Miss Irene Spra ue left Tuesday for St. Petersburg, Florida, where they will spend the winter. Mr. and Mrs. Wade Zerbe spent Sunday in South Bend with Mr. and» Mrs. Dial Rogers. Mr. and Mrs. Wilmot Jones, Jr., have purchased the Wynans property on Harrison street. Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Holloway spent the week-end in South Bend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dial Rogers. Mrs. Angeline Edmonds is enclosing her front porch and also having some work done on the trees in front of her home. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Disher and Paul will spend Thanksgiving in Angola with. Mrs. Disher’s father. Mrs. Earl Edwards of Bobtown, Pa., who spent two weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher Marsh, returned to her home Friday. Mr. arid Mrs. Warren Riddle of Toledo, Ohio, came Sunday to spend the week with the former’s mother, Mrs. John Riddle. Mrs. Edward Shea visited Miss Sue Shea at Indianapolis last Sunday. Miss Shea is connected with Girl Scout work in that city. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Stucky and daughter, Gwyn, apd son, Teddy, attended the North Central-Val-paraiso football game at Valparaiso Saturday. They were accompanied home by Bill Nicholson, Bob Stoner, Arlyn Shiffler and Jim Stucky, students of North Central at Naperville, Illinois, who spent the week-end with them. Mr. Anthony received the present from Horace Heidt's “Pot O’ Gold” sponsor after his name had been selected from among ’phone books representing every section of the country, and he appeared on the “Pot O’ Gold” program the following week to tell about it.
