GIRL SCOUT NEWS The Girl Scouts met in the Girl Scout hall Monday evening, after school. The roll eall was taken by the troop scribe and each scout in return gave one scout law. ■There were several problems discussed, one of which was about leather. The scouts are learning as much about it as possible before they start the leather work. Miss Berger read to us on the subject of how to work with leather. We’re hoping to get it started with our lesson soon. Mrs. Sieder is going to help us as soon as we are ready. It’s nearing time for the scouts to be thinking about making children happy. If anyone has an old doll which might be fixed up, and you are willing to give it to the girl scouts, we will be glad to receive it and will repair it neatly. The scouts are thinking of having another “Bum’s Day” if the public would save anything for us to do. Remember, we would wash dishes, take care of children, or anything you would like. What do you think about it. We are willing. Don’t forget, if you have any old dolls to give away, please notify one of the Girl Scouts. Suzanne Rapp, Scribe.
