SQUIRREL HUNTERS ENJOY GOOD SPORT Early reports from many of the 69 counties making up the Southern Zone in which the squirrel season opened last Thursday, indicate that hunters are enjoying some real sport, Virgil M. .Simmons, commissioner of the Department of Conservation, said today. Game wardens have reported checking licenses of many hunters who had taken the limit of five squirrels after a few short hours in the woods. Opening of the squirrel season in the southern zone is again drawing a number of sportsmen from neighboring states with a number of non-resi-dent licenses issued..
