Emory Guy and wife, Arnold LsCount and family, and Betty and June Pinkerton were Sunday guests in the Joe Smith home. Mrs. Sam Dausman suffered a paralytic stroke last Wednesday, and is in a critical condition. June Pinkerton has been suffering with an ear infection. Barbara Traster of Milford, Roy Auer of South Bend, and Charles Koontz of near Mishawaka, were week-end guests of the George Auer family. / Little Lois Mae Dausman spent two days with Roy Pinkerton and family. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Baugher and daughters, Betty and Carolyn, were among the guests at the Arnold reunion, 'Sunday, at Long's Park. The annual McClintic reunion was held at Posey Inn, Sunday, with a very good attendance and a very nice time was had by all. Ella Brown was a caller Friday afternoon in the Jonas Cripe home. Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Shock and son, Joe, were callers last week in the Fred Kuhn home, near Cromwell. Mrs. Marie Bleeke had a picnic dinner at her home Thursday, guests all being from Fort Wayne. Vada McClintic and Rosa Click were among those who attended their Sunday School party at the home of Emily Hermon last Thursday near Pierceton. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Swenson and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ringenberg were at Tippecanoe lake Monday for a picnic supper. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Baughter and daughters, Betty and Carolyn, were Goshen shoppers Saturday evening. Mrs. Jacob Click and daughters, Katherine and Geraldine, called in the Emanuel Click home, near Cromwell, Monday afternoon. Miss Lena Johnshew of Indianapolis is spending a vacation this week with her sister, Anna Mor- ‘ rison, at Lake Wawasee.

Supper guests Monday evening in the Jonas Cripe home were Mr. and Mrs. Will Mock. Mr. and Mrs. John Homan were guests in the Ned Stuckman home, Saturday. Callers in the Martin McClintic home Sunday were: Mr. and Mrs. Chris Kincade, Mr. and Mrs. Alva Hamman, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Thomas and Mr. and Mrs. Dean Hite and daughter, Deanna Jo. The Misses Katherine and Geraldine Click, who are employed in the Revenue Accounting Department of the Indiana Associated Telephone Corp., in Goshen, are spending a vacation this week in the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Click. Junior McClintic, is spending the week in Elkhart, the guest of his aunt, Mrs. Charles Thomas. Mrs. Alma Archer and Mrs. Rosa Click attended the funeral of Mrs. Theodore Vorhis, Wednesday afternoon in Syracuse. Mr. and Mrs. Martin McClintic and Mr. and Mrs. Furman Buck were Goshen shoppers Saturday evening. Judgement of $10,000 was awarded to Samuel Wenk in Chicago who testified that the went into a health club feeling “fine” and came out with a broken vertebra. A hen is mothering a litter of kittens near Huntington, Ind., assisted by a farm hand who feeds them milk.

A fish pond was the feature of the afternoon. Invited guests were Mrs. J. C. Bailey, Mrs. Fred Hinderer, Mrs. Hattie Brown and Betty Wilt, of Syracuse, Mrs. Florence Myers and daughters, Doris and Marilyn, of Milford, and Mrs. Louise Clayton and son, David, of Leesburg, Rev. Maison, Christion Koher, Eston, Frederick and Eldon Clayton, and William. Rogers. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Dembutsky, Goshen, called on Eston Clayton, Monday evening. Rev. E. Maison and family visited at Terre Haute and Muncie last week. Dave Clayton and Reinhold Kolberg were in Warsaw, Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Rogers and daughter were Sunday dinner guests of Eston Clayton. Lawrence Stiffler’s daughter, Pearl, and family, of Elkhart, spent last week with her father. Mrs. Wilma Rensberger’s sister, Annabelle, of Ohio, was her guest last week. Mrs. Musciline Deaton was in Warsaw last Thursday. Mrs. Harriett Davis, Bill Brown and Junior Reed were dinner guests of Mrs. Alta Tom. Mr. and Mrs. H. O. Metzler of Wakarusa, Ind., Mr. and Mrs. Russell Searer and sons, Donald and Wendell, of Three Rivers, Mich., Mr. and Mrs. Russell Neterer of Huntington, Ind., spent Sunday at the Metzler cottage on Syracuse Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Tom are building a new home on Syracuse Henry Gordon, who had his hip broken some weeks ago is at the home of his son, Wasell, and his condition remains about the same.

Dick Cory remains about the same. His brother, Ben, of Lansing, Mich., is visiting and assisting in caring for him. Mrs. Noble Ringler and Mrs. Lester Sawyer visited their mother, Mrs. Mary Burson at the McDonald hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Wogoman of Elkhart, visited his sister, Mrs. Hoover, Monday. The little son of Mr. and Mrs. Noble Ringler, has been sick.
