E. Strieby. Pat Finton, whose hand was badly burned last week with a Roman candle, is getting along nicely. Mr. and Mrs. Don Riley is visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Bert Ward this week. Mr. and Mrs. M. King of Indianapolis, spent Tuesday night with Mr. and Mrs. James Connolly. T* Mr. Charles Bachman, J r., made a business trip to Warsaw, Tuesday afternoon. Miss Frances Miller spent Monday evening with Mrs. Ralph Sarver. Mr. Adams of Circleville is here on business at the Sturm and Dillard gravel company. The 4-H girls gave a party for the 4-H boys at Indian Mill, Friday. After the treasure hunt, swimming was enjoyed and a good time was had by all. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Bailey and family of Niles, Michigan, were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. * George Steimberger. The two girls, Mary Allen and Marilyn, are staying for several weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Heilman of Lake Wawasee were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. James Connolly, Tuesday evening. Mr. Richard Isabel attended the Municipal Air Circus ir. Ft. Wayne Sunday. Dr. and Mrs. John Adrian of Lorain, Ohio, spent several days with Mrs. B. F. Hoy, this week. Mr. and Mrs. Ramsyre and son, Jacob, of Warren, and David Moore, of Cleveland, visited at the home of Mrs. Ramsyre’s sister, Mrs. Walter Sloan, last Sunday. Mrs. Walter Ritter and family called on her sister, Mrs. Alice Jarrett, last Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Alice Jarrett and son, Hobart, and Mrs. Bertha Troughbridge, were Goshen shoppers on Monday. Mrs. Perry Foster was in South Bend visiting her son, Clifford, and his family, last Sunday. Mrs. Foster’s granddaughter, June returned home with her to spend a few days.
