The visited the Catholic Cathedral at Peru and visited the orphanage at Mexico. Dale Mock is having a foundation put in for a house. Mr. Bowser of Leesburg is doing the work.

Henry Godschalk and family of near Bristol, Ted Godschalk and son of South Bend spent Sunday with their parents, Joe Godschalk and wife. Vern Dausman and family called at the Roy Pinkerton home Sunday evening. Vern LeCount and son, Carl, helped George Mosier put up hay last week. Mrs. George Kreger, who fell and broke her arm several weeks ago, is slowly recovering and at this report is feeling fine. Mr. and Mrs. L. N. House and son, Verdle, and Mr. Ward Robison called in the Greeley Yoder home, Sunday afternoon. The rural electric project which has been in progress for several months is just about finished. The line was finished and is now ready for use. Several of this community are wired and are now using the new system. As each » house is finished, they will receive electricity. i Mr. Ervin, Mr. Denboe and Mr. and Mrs. L. N. John Bushong entertained Dolores Druckamiller and Rosemary and Maxine Heckaman at the Bushong picnic, Wednesday. Kingsley Pfipgst left Wednesday morning for Los Angeles, Calif. 1 Miss Lucia Barabeau of Hobart and Mr. E. L. Dahlstrom of Gary were the week-end guests of Carl Dahlstrom. Mrs. V. E. Rarick of Ligonier called on Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Gants Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. May Kindig and son, Joe, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Niles and son,. Burton, Mr. and Mrs.^ Henry O. Grieger, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Kegg and Mr. and Mrs. Thibedeaux enjoyed an outdoor picnic last Thursday evening on Mrs. May Kindig’s lawn. They were initiating the new open fire place recently built and also Mrs- Grieger’s new screened-in cabin. Mr. and Mrs. Genser and children of Michigan City spent Wednesday and Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Emory Kindig.
