Miss Ilagean Lamberg, formerly a resident of Syracuse, visited her Wednesday evening. J Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholi were Mr. Jesse Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Russel Miller, Misses Hazel and Ethel Miller, and Mr. Wm. Miller. Mrs. Jesse Mitchel and son of Nappanee spent Wednesday with Mr s . Ella Wolf. Mary Alice Kitson is home from school visiting her father, Mr. L. N. Kitson. She will start for New York, later. < Mr. and Mrs. Carl Lindstrom and Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Southern and family of Lockport, Illinois, were the week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Shea. The Ladies’ Aid committee, No. 4, met with Mrs. C. Snieder, Friday night, having a delicious potluck supper. Mrs. Clemens was chairman.

PLANS FOR FAIaL FESTIVAIj REPORTED UNDER WAY According to a report from s Gordon Johnson, the plans for rhe annual Syracuse Fall Festival are nearing completion. The complete program is not entirely ready for announcement, but the date has been set for August 30, 31, and September 1 and 2, and most of the amusements, attractions, etc-, from out of town have been sef cured. . The Edward Weyerson Amusement Enterprises Company has been engaged to bring twenty-five concessions, two free Acts, four shows, and five rides, including a merry-go-round, ferris wheel, tilt-a-whirl , and two others, one of which will be entirely for the kiddles. i.
