’ * Triple Celebration Thursday dinner guests in the Jacob Click home were: Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Archer and sons, Claire and Ray, Mr. Brooks Archer, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Russell, Mr. and Mrs.. Adrian Archer, Charles Allen, Mn and Mrs. Emanuel Click and son Glen and Miss Dorma Beezley, all of Cromwell. Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel Click were married on Thanksgiving day, forty years ago and it was Jacob Click’s birthday. Every six or seven years the two anniversaries and Thanksgiving meet and Mrs. Emanuel Click and Mrs. Jacob Click alternately have entertained the immediate families for a number of years when the triple celebrations are held. Decoration?! were in keeping with Thanksgiving day except for a bridal cake and a birthday cake. There was also a “Turkey cake for Thanksgiving. The Wednesday* Afternoon Club held a Reciprocity meeting in the beautiful new home of Mrs. Fred Clark on Tuesday evening, their guests being members of the Round Table club. The program was given by Mrs. Davis of Albion, who was formerly of Wales, relating her experiences of her European tour. Concluding with a poem by Henry Van Dyke and two vocal Welch numbers.
