DO YOUR DUTY AND VOTE Mark Twain once said “Everyone talks about the weather but no one ever does anything about it.” In our country everyone talks about government yet when the only time a citizen can do anything about it comes around on the calender, namely Ejection Day, too many people take the same attitude they take about the weather and do nohing about it. , To vote is not only a privilege it is a duty. In America it is your first expression of manhood and womanhood. Do not shirk your duty; do not pass the buck to the other fellow. Swing into action and cast your vote. It takes very little of your time; it costs you nothing and you must cast your vote on Election Day, November Bth, to hold your respect and self satisfaction.

Many of our leading statesmen, educators, and businessmen ar? coming to a keener realization Pf the value of spiritual entities as a necessity in the relations of men and nations. The principles of morality—those rujes of conduct as between individuals —are as funda. mentally necessary to the best interests of the race as is bread and meat to the physical. The principle of honesty as in dealing one with the other belong to the best of life. Truthfulness claims a rightful place in all of life’s activities. The church of Jesus Christ in the world exists for the very purpose of promulgating the above principles. If you are a member of any church you are in a cooperative relationship with ajl other church members, and should be willing and anxious to do your “bit” to attain unto the highest degree of achievement for GBd and man. Worship somewhere, pray always, and pay as God prospers you. That will help wonderfully. Tax Service - Systems - Audit J. G. HERR Accountant Ph ne 468 Goshen

The philosopher, the scientist, the economist, the politician, the teacher, the student, and the common man are all seeking in their own way for what we call the truth. Some are finding some of it. Most are still not satisfied.
