Dan Teeters of Hagerstown have taken up their summer residence on Lake Wawasee. < Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Templton of Indianapolis, are spending the summer in their cottage. J. Everett Jones and family 01 Anderson are spending a few days in their lake cottage this week. Mrs. Herbert Isay of South Whitley entertained dinner guests at the South Shore Inn, Thursday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Teeter of Hagerstown and a party of friends spent the week-end in the Charles Teeter cottage. Mr. Charles Stoolmiller and Mr. Warren Duke of Anderson are spending a few days with the-Misses Emilie and Louise Voorhees. (Mr. and Mrs. James Yates and daughter of Indianapolis have taken the Lamb cottage in Pickwick Park I for six weeks. They entertained j guests over the weekend.

Elvin Doll visited in Lima, Ohio over the week-end. —— B. G. Anderson and family spent the week-end at Wawasee. Mr. and Mrs. Fay Patrick of Indianapolis, are at the lake for the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Symmes of Indianapolis are in their cottage fo> the summer. The “Drifting Hoosiers” will play at Winters Sandwich Shop, Saturday night, June 25. Mr. and Mrs. McGuire and children of Chicago are in the Holloway cottage this week. Mrs. Vita Bolman and son Morton and wife have moved into their summer cottage on Cedar Point. G. W. Hendrick and party of Decatur, Indiana spent a few days in the Flickenger cottage No. 3. Mr. and Mrs. Laughlin of Elwood, who are spending the summer on Ogden Island, had week-end guests. Henry Abts has returned from Butler University to spend the summer with his mother Mrs. Matt C. Abts. Mr. and Mrs. Al Servies and family of Indianapolis have taken the Shafer cottage on Morrison Island for the season. Matt C. Abts visited his family from Tuesday until Saturday of last week then he left for Philadelphia on business. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cline of Anderson are in their summer cottage for the remainder of the season. Their daughters are visiting them this week. The Hossinger-Kent reunion from Ohio was held Sunday at Flickinger’s picnic grounds. Eighty-five people were present. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Freeman, Jr., and family of Jackson! Mich., accompanied by Mrs. Freeman’s parents, are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Steven Freeman, Sr. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Meitz and family of Ft. Wayne are spending the summer on Ogden Island. Vljss Rhoda Grupe of Detroit is a visitor in their home this week. The Ministerial Association of Elkhart had a banquet for 42 members in the cafeteria at the Oakwood hotel, on Monday, June 20. In the afternoon preceding the banquet they held a short business meeting. Mr. Charles Zeddis of Waveland Beach, superintendent of the Prudential Insurance Co., of Ft. Wayne, was entertained at a banquet given by a group of the insurance men in Ft. Wayne, in honor of his 25th anniversary with that company.

Lots of fish are caught by fishermen around Kale Island. , Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Gollins entertained guests over the week-end. Mrs. Ed Weesner, of Marion, is in her cottage in Pickwick for the summer. Mrs. Steve Russell and daughter are in their cottage on Ogden Isiand. Mr. and Mrs. Orland Stiffler and daughter Louise and Mrs. Everett Rookstool and son Everett Earl. Robert Maggart of Albion is building a new cottage on the east end of Lake Wawasee. ■ Mr. and Mrs. McWilliams who are in the Riddel cottage, entertained guests over the week-end. Ogden Island fishermen have reported big catches during the first week of the fishing season. Mrs. M. D. Cohen of Lansing, Mich., is visiting Mrs. F. A. Bornmann and daughter, Doretta Frank Wolf and family of Gary spent last week in Flickenger’s cottage No. 2 on Waveland Beach. Miss Barbara Ruth Bailey of Jackson, Michcigan, is visiting her grandmother, Mrs. Emma Whisler. Mr. and Mrs. Clark spent the week-end with Mrs. Clark’s mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. George Kenyon. Carl Bick spent the week-end in his cottage while he attended the Textile Chemists and Colorist convention at the South Shore Inn. (Mr. Ed Simon, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Clark of Jackson, Mich., Mrs. Ella Harding of Wolf Lake, and Mrs. Lula Ruser of Ligonier, spent Sunday in the Doll cottage, Waveland Beach. Mr. Charles Hostetter entertained the following at a tea given in his apartment over Pryor’s store in Oakwood Park last Thursday: Mrs. Nora Hummel and daughter Helen, Miss Maxine Deal, Miss Margret Shepara, LaMora Buttler, Lois Davis and Mrs. C. R. Bitzer and daughter, Helen.
