For Coughs, Colds, Asthma, Spittings of Blood, Soreness of Throat, tYhooping Cough, and all Diseases indicative of CONSUMPTION. Many people are so apt to consider a cold but a trifling matter,
and to think that "it will go away of itself in a day or two," that they give themselves no trouble about it. But to such we would say, 'be careful of your colds;' do not tamper with your constitutions. If you desire to live to "a good old age," he careful to take such remedies as will effect an easy and a speedy cure.Dr. Swayne's Compound Syrup of "Prunus Virginiana or Wild Cherry," has cured more colds than any other medicine offered for sale in thiscountry. It is made known to us from the "bills of mortality," that two thirds of the human family die annually from that fatal de stroycr "Consumption!" Would patients pay more regard to their health, and procure proper remedies at the first attack, many valuable lives would be saved to the enjoyment of their dear eBt friends and relatives. It is a well known fact that "Doctor Swayne's Compound Syrup of Wild Cherry" will arrest the dangerous disease. ij!his Medicine has proved its efficacy in 'thousands of cases." "The very many certificates received, and the recommendations from country agents, who sell this Medicine throughout the United States, is truly astonishing they speak from ocular proof, witnessing the cures in their own vicinity - ThiB certainly is sufficient evidence to convince the most skepti-
calof the wonderful efficacy of this invaluable medicine. Will patients any longer be duped by inexperienced compounds, rec
ommended by ignorant pretenders as "cure alls," which they
well known is both ruinous to the health and constitution? PRINCIPAL DEPOT for the above medicine is at No 19,

LIVER COMPLAINT. . This disease is discovered 'iy a fixed obtuse pain ill the right side under the short ribs, attended with heat and uneasiness about the pit of the stomach; there is in the right side also a dis tension; Hie patient loses his appetite, and becomes sick and troubled with vomiting.
