A lew days ago Andy J. Wintekrowd killed a white squirrel. It was a great curiosity and really handsome, being lare and perfectly white, We believe it was sent to Cincinnati fur the purpose of having its skin stuffed. tGf- Tho resignation of Gen. Burnside has been accepted, and he is consequently now a private citizen. It is a pity him or Old Abe had not resigned before the slaughter of Fredcricksburgh, which would have saved the sacrifice of thousand of brave men.
