The Township Elections. The Township elections in this county resalted in substantial Democratic victories, with the exception of two or threeTbwnshipe, Jacxsox Entire Democratic ticket elected. Daniel Snepp Trustee and Tho's Stine Justice. The League ran no candidate for Trustee the Democratic majority on Justice is 62. Washington There were two Democrats ran for Trustee in this Township, J. W. Clayton the regular nominee and Christopher Girton, independent Girton was elected by 20 majority. Alex Vangordon, the Derr. ocratic candidate fo Justice was elected by 2 majority. Xoblk John F. Lewis, Dem. is elected Trustee by 134 majority. Daniel W. Avery and John W. Beman, Justices, by about the same majorities. Liberty Jery Rucker, Dem. elected Trustee by 41 majority. Hendricks Reading Money,Dem. Trustee by 57 majority. Si-gar Cheek Henry Huntington, Dem. Trustee by 81 majority. Rraxdywixe Ryram Harrell, Democrat, Trustee, by 30 majority. The League at tempted to run a Democrat in this Township, and succeeded, in the fore part ofthe day, in cajoling a number of Democrats to vote for him, which decreased the Democratic majority somewhat Marion Leander Kennedy, League, Trustee by 32 majority. The vote for Trustee in Washington, Liberty, Brandywine and Moral can hardly be taken as a test of party strength, for in all these Townships the Republicans ran Democrats, who took more or less Democratic votes, and invariably ran ahead of their ticket The Democratic majority in the county on Trustee is 569 add the 270 deficiency to thw Demo era le vote, and the 1 la to the Kepubhcan, and the Democratic majerity would be the same as last fall, 724.
