' XXoro Juvenile Depredations. We understand that the depredations and thefts" mentioned by us last week as having heen committed by boys in our city, were hardly a commencement. We have heard of .at least a dozen different persons who have ...v.unuc humus ui mese juvenile purloiners, showing that their organization was extensive and well perfected. It is to be hoped the "League" is now broken up, and that parents and those having charge of boys will keep a sharper eye upon their movements in future, and see that they are properly employed during the day, and at home in seasonable hours at nurht. Port Monik Lost. A lady lost a russet colored Port Monie, with steel clasp, on Harrison street this morning. It contained about three dollars in money. The finder is requected to leave it at this office. Hanover Township. Morristown Ind., April 6th, 1863. Pursuant to custom, the Democracy of
Hanover I ownship assembled for the purpose of appointing delegates to the County Convention. At the appointed hour more than double the number had resembled, than at any previous convention of the kind in this Township. On motion Henry Bcck was called to the Chair and Wit. T Whiteside appointed secretary. After stating the object of the meeting the following delegates were unanimously elected; Isaac Hurst, David Kemp, J. G. Wolf, Josiah Glover, and Benj Keaten. Also the following as alternates, A. McIIargrove, A. Macy and Charlton Reed. On motion of J. G. Wolf the delegates were inetructed to cast the vote of the Township as a unit, the majority of the delegates governing in the selection of candidates. The Convention then adjourned. HENRY BUCK, Pres.
