Services Held For Mrs. Lange

Hertha N. Lange, 78, 2114 N. Lyndhurst Drive, passed away July 23,1972 in Hendricks County.

Born September 18, 1893 in Appleton, Wisconsin, the deceased housewife was affiliated with Corinthian O.EJS. No. 456. Services were held at Speedway Conkle Funeral Home and burial took place at Floral Pali Cemetery. Mrs. Lange is survived by a daughter, Helen M. Case and two sons Richard F. and Carleton B. Lange.

Farewell To Rev. Harmer Of St. Christopher Chuifqh

Born in Indianapolis on May 7, 1929, Father Hartzer was the son of Edward and Hilda Hartzer, deceased. He attended Cathedral grade school and three years at Cathedral High School. From there, he went to St. Meinard, where he studied nine years. His first parish assignment was to Holy Trinity parish, Indianapolis on June 22, 1954. He left Holy Trinity on the Bishop’s orders on September 1963, having served as an assistant pastor there for 9 1/2 years, to be an associate pastor at St. Gabriel’s parish, Connersville, Indiana. After 5 1/2 years at St. Gabriel’s, he was assigned to St. Christopher parish in January 1969, and now after endearing himself to all the members of St. Christopher parish and the Community of Speedway the past 3 1/2 years, he has been asked to move on up to Co-Pastor at St. Mark’s parish, Indianapolis. The Speedway School Board met at Superintendent Dale W eller’s office on Tuesday, July 25 to discuss next years budget. An increase of $175,000 in the budget was projected. C. Everett Shultz, 59, 1641 Fisher Ave. of Speedway, passed away at 4:15 p.m. on July 26 at Methodist Hospital. Mr. Shultz, who was ill for 6 weeks with a brain tumor, was buried at Lafayette, Indiana July 29. Born December, 4, 1912 in White County, Indiana, toe deceased attended Monitor High School.
