Phyllis Draper finished second in all-around competition at the Girls* State Gymnastics meet held at Munster last week. She placed second in vaulting* fifth on the balance beam, and sixth in floor exercise.

team finished in first place amang sixteen schools participating in the state finals. Speedway girls sat eigrt state records, tied one, and set one national record. Five of the state records were: 200-yard medley relay consisting of Arlene Medenwaki, and Terri Kottaridis; Terri Kottaridis in the 200yard freestyle; Terri Kottaridis in the 50-yard freestyle; Mari Medenwald in the 100yard butterfly; Terri Kottaridis in the 100-yard freestyle. The national record also was set by Speedway team member Mari Medenwald breaking her own national record set last year in the 200-yard individual medley. hi addition to these abovementioned girls, the following have qualified for the state meet at Elkhart: Wanda Atkinson, Beth Grande, Sue Meden-
