Rt Jewell spent a number of years as Director of Christian Education for the Baptist Churches in Indiana. He had three pastorates in the state that covered a period of approximately 18 years. His last pastorate was at the Exeter Avenue Baptist Church of this city. Rev. Jewell now lives at the Community Nursing Home on 38th Street.
They will cover an area bordered by 25th Street on the south, 30th Street on the north. High School Road on the west and Lyndhurst Drive on the east. The drive is scheduled for Monday, October 5 between 7 and 10 pan. If special pickups are necessary, please call 2935829.

In varsity football, Speedway lost to Lawrence Central 28-0. Speedway reserves lost to Lawrence 26-6, and Speedway freshmen won from Plainfield last week, the eighth grade by a score of 34-8, and the seventh grade by a score of 32-14. Speedway’s tennis team won three matches recently. They won from Danville 7-0, from Mooresville 8-1, and from Greenwood 4-3. Brebeuf won a close cross country meet with Speedway by only one point. The score was 27-28.
