Vows Read For Ibanez-Hodge

Following a wedding trip to the Ozarks, newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo Ibanez, are residing in St. Louis, Missouri. The couple were wed during a 2:30 pun., service at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church on Saturday, August 8. The Rev. Harald Johnson officiated. The bride, the former Margaret Ann Hodge, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Lee Hodge, 2516 Moller Road, Speedway. Her husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Felix Ibanez of Madrid, Spain. For the wedding, the bride, given in marriage by her father, chose a sleeveless faille taffeta floor length princess gown with a Bateau neckline and a wide border of lace accenting the skirt at the hemline. Miss Wacker Is Singer Winner

Miss Carol Wacker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Karl F. Wacker, 2746 N. Vinewood Drive, Speedway, was recently awarded Ist prize in the Sub Deb Division for girls at Singers in Lafayette Square. Miss Wacker modeled the plaid Jacket and skirt she had made in the community room last Wednesday evening. Her prize was a Singer tape recorder.

Miss Wacker is now eligible to compete in the Regional contest which will be followed by The National Semi-finals and the National finals. Miss Moyer Weds Wesley Green

The Briley Chapel Community Church was the setting for the marriage of Miss Janice Rosalie Moyer and Wesley Gary Green on Saturday, August 22. The Rev. M. Duane Sinn officiated at the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley G> Green

He has served two years in the U.S. Navy and is a graduate of Indiana State University. Presently he is employed as an industrial arts teacher in the Mooresville High School. For the wedding the bride selected a floor length gown of white lace and crystallne over taffeta. The bodice was made of beaded embroidered lace with an empire waistline, portrait neckline and long sleeves. The skirt and tubular train were trimmed with beaded appliques and edged in lace.
