Bebee-Kildsig Wedding
The Speedway Christian Church was the setting for the marriage of Miss Patricia Mae Kildsig and Douglas Kaefer Bebee on Saturday, August 29. The groom’s father, Rev. Arthur F. Bebee officiated at the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John R. Kild sig, 1659 Presto, Speedway. She is a graduate of Indiana University and a member of Zeta Ta Alpha Sorority. Her husband is the son of Rev. and Mrs. Arthur Bebee of Salisbury, Maryland. He is a graduate of Anderson College. For the 2:30 p.m., wedding the bride wore a full length white oranza over taffeta gown. The gown was accented at the

Bebee and groomsmen Stephen House and Clyde McAdams. Following a reception in Fellowship Hall the couple left for a wedding trip to Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Doers To Meet Sept. 9 The first fall meeting of the Speedway Doers Homemakers will be held Wednesday, September 9th at 9:00 a.m. in the home of Marjorie Knowles, 909 N. Bauman . Elizabeth Cofoid will be her co-hostess. A representative from The Trend House will be the speaker for the morning. Election of officers for 1971 will be held.
The baby girl, born August 25, is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Brady Jr., 7101 Carlsen, Speedway, and Mr. and Mrs. Ira Watts
Following the dinner the chapter will hold their first meeting of the fall season. The chapter’s cultural program subject for the 1970-71 season will be “Hobbies.”

O.E.S. To Hold Pitch-In Dinner The slated meeting of the Speedway O.E.S. Chapter on Tuesday, September 8, will take place at 8:00 p.m.. The highlight of the evening will be a Family Pitch-in Dinner and members are asked by Worthy Matron, Patty Dewall and Worthy Patron, Floyd Bilbee to come with well-filled baskets and join the festivities.
