Diana Williams Weds AIC Richard Wraight
The wedding of Miss Diana Lynn Williams and Airman Ist Class Richard Frank Wralght took place on Friday, August 21, in the Speedway Christian Church at 7:30 p.m. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Donald A. Williams, 1974 Patton Drive, Speedway, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank D. Wralght, 4903 Baxter Drive, Speedway. Both the bride and groom formerly attended Ball State University. She is a member of Pl Beta Phi Sorority and her husband is a member of Beta Theta Pl Fraternity. The groom was previously stationed in Denver, Colorado, at Lowry Air Force Base. He will be stationed at Shaw Field in Sumter, South Carolina. The bride wore a white organza and Alencon lace gown for the evening wedding. The bride, escorted to the alter by her father, wore a full length empire walsted gown of white dotted swiss over taffeta with an extended chapel train trimmed with ruffled lace. Her stand-up collar, puffed sleeves and empire waist were trimmed with an embroidered batlsta lace. The brides elbow length silk illusion veil was secured by a floral headpiece of pink roses and white and lavender lily of the valley. The gown and veil were made as a gift by the flower girls mother, Mrs. Bill Holdcraft. The bride carried an orchid bouquet and her Jewelry consisted of white Ivory earrings and a gold cross necklace. points, and lace appliques encircled the waistline. Lace trim was scattered over the floor-length organza A-llne skirt and the detachable chapellength train was also sprinkled with the lace motif. A matching forward plateau headpiece held her tiered imported illusion veil. Miss Tamara Lyna Griffith served as maid of honor and the bridesmaids included Miss Donna Williams, sister of the bride, Miss Pamela Miller, Miss Jo Lynn Black and Mrs. Robert Tyler.

Their high stand-up collars and empire waistlines were accented with a lavender lace trim. A cluster of pink roses and lily of the valley secured the lavender bouffant veils. Each of the brides attendants wore white gloves and carried a single long-stemmed rose with pink streamers. The flower girl, Jeanette Holdcraft wore a similar gown and headpiece.
