Her fiance is a graduate of Ben Davis High School and has served in the United States Navy. He is employed at Silver - Burdett Publishing Company for Time-Life Magazine. The wedding will take place in the Speedway Christian Church on September 4th.
The future bridegroom attended Indiana University and was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. The wedding is planned for September 25, in the Speedway Christian Church.

Miss Carolyn Sue Ellis and William Fredrick Ermel were united in marriage on Saturday, August 15, in the Meadowdale United. Methodist Church. Rev. Coahran conducted the 2:30 p.m., ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Malcolm Ellis, 5308 W. 22nd Street, Speedway, and the late Mr. Ellis. Her husband is the son of Mrs. Walter Ermel Sr., of Lafayette, and the late Mr. Ermel. The bride, given in marriage by her brother, Ronald J. Ellis, wore an Edwardian styled gown of white organza. The foil bishop sleeves, high neckline and bodice were trimmed in chantilly lace. The lace extended down the full skirt of the gown and the bride wore a matching chapel length train with a Camelot headpiece of lace securing her mantilla veil which was also edged in lace. She carried a pure white orchid surrounded by minature white carnations, stephanotis and greenery. Mrs. Susan Lebo served as

matron of honor, Miss Tonie Frelje was a bridesmaid and the junior bridesmaid was Miss Penny Lynn Warren. The attendants wore avocado A-llne skirts topped with a white bodice. They carried white daisies and yellow carnations in white baskets trimmed in avocado. The groom’s best man was his brother Walter Ermel Jr. John Hamilton and Allan Wlechers were the ushers.
