Miss Vickie Lynne Sedam became the bride of Joseph William Schaffer in the Fairfax Christian Church on Saturday, August 8. Mr. and Mrs. Marlon E. Sedam, 951 Olin Avenue, and Mr. and Mrs. Carl W. The flower girl, Miss Denise Schaffer wore a white lace and taffeta gown and carried a basket of yellow rose petals. The groom was attended by his best man, Richard Bohr, Carl Schaffer Jr., Francis E. Schaffer, and Kenneth Schaffer. Teddy Schaffer, nephew of the groom was the ring bearer.

He is presently a senior at Ball State University. For the wedding the bride selected a gown of ivory silk organza over taffeta. The empire styled bodice was accented by reembroidered Alencon lace trim. The lace was continued on the bodice and complimented the high stand-up collar. Full hish;op sleeves s were featured. The bride’s attendants included her matron of honor, Mrs. Leslie Danford Jr., Miss Patricia Smith, Mrs. Thomas Smith, Miss Emily Smith and Miss Chris Barnes. The attendants chose floor length gowns of lace cut voll. The Nile green dresses were sleeveless and featured a high rounded neckline and a natural waistline belted in cord. Rick Terpstra served as best man. The groomsmen were Bruce Montgomery, Thomas Smith, Bill Austin and Mark Gergely. The newlyweds are presently on a wedding trip to Wisconsin.
