Speedway School News

The school office has had some reports that door to door candy sales people have been using the names of Speedway Schools falsely in their attempts to take orders for candy. The school has a policy which does not permit door to door solicitations for the sale of candy, magazines, or any other article. Please do not buy if the name of one of the Speedway Public Schools is used in the solicitation. Monday, July 20, is the Speedway 4-H local exhibit at the Speedway Junior High School. Each 4-H member is required to participate in the local exhibit in order to complete the 4-H project for the summer of 1970. All exhibits must be properly labeled and should be brought to the school between 9 and 10 a.m. on Monday, July 20. Exhibits may be viewed and picked up between 2 and 3 p.m. that same day. All exhibits must be claimed no later than 3 p.m. More detailed information Is available from the 4-H instructor, Mrs. Hinchman.
