and Mr. and Mrs. Winfield D. Wood, 5032 West 14th Street, Speedway. The bride is a 1969 graduate of Arlington High School and Is a student at Vincennes University. Her husband is a 1964 graduate of Speedway High School and after serving four

years with the United States Navy, also attends Vincennes University. The bride wore a long white gown of organza over satin. The gown, as well as the floor length veil, were trimmed in Venice lace and were designed and made by the bride. Kim Wood served as flower girl and Kurt, Wood was ring bearer. Kim and Kurt are the niece and nephew of the groom. The groomsmen were James R. Wood and Edward R. Johnson. Glen Curtis, Michael McArthur and Joe Stern (brother of the bride) served as ushers. Mr. James Simons was the soloist. The reception was held Immediately following the ceremony in Fellowship Hall. Cassetty Named To Dean’s List Tom Cassetty, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. K. Cassetty, 6005 Cadillac Drive, has been named to the Dean's List at Indiana Extension for the Spring semester. Cassetty has a 3.2 average. He Is majoring in business.

Newlyweds Motor To Smoky Moutains

Wedding vows were read for Miss Jane Ann Keating and Dennis Wayne Anderson In St. Christopher's Catholic Church, Speedway, on Saturday, June 27. Father Michael Carr officiated at the ceremony. The bride’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Keating, 1614 Christopher Lane, Speedway. Parents of the groom are Mr. Harold Anderson of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Charles Holland of Greencastle. The church was decorated for the wedding with bouquets of white carnations, white gladioli, and white daisies against a background of palms and greenery accented by cathedral candelabra. For the wedding the bride selected a formal length A-llne gown of white silk Fiesta. The bodice was accented in Alencon lace embroidered with seed pearls. The sleeves and neckline were encrusted with the same motif with accentuating applique sprays of lace and pearls flowering the front of the dress from bodice to hemline. A matching circular cap repeated the Alencon lace and pearl trim and secured a flowing silk Illusion elbow length veil. The bridal bouquet was an arrangement of white carnations with streamers cascading from a white orchid centering the spray.

Mrs. Cunningbani Weds Ralph Ross

Mrs. Russell (Leanna) Cunningham and Ralph M. Ross were united In marriage on Saturday, June 27, in a 2:30 p.m. service at the Speedway Christian Church. Dr. Ray Montgomery performed the ceremony. Honor, attendants for the couple were Mr. and Mrs. Donald F. Ross. The bride Is employed by the Speedway Schools as School Nurse. Her husband Is the Dean of Student Affairs at Rose Polytechnic Institute In Terre Haute. Ross Is the uncle of Donald F. Ross of Speedway. The bride Speedway Grad On Dean's List Miss Deborah Medenwald, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James L. Haddock, 5240 W. 15th Street, was named to the Dean's List at Indiana University for the past semester. Miss Medenwald, a junior at LU. Is majoring in elementary education and plans to teach special education. She Is a 1968 graduate of Speedway High School. otm& % GeletuUt t pewUd Members of the Country Club of Indianapolis will celebrate the Fourth with a Flag Day Tournament for adult golfers beginning at 11 a.m. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Magnuson are making plans for the event. The swimming pool will be the site of games and activities for the younger members of the club and an "All American Buffet*' Is planned for one and all at 6:30 p.m. Psi lota Names New Members Gamma Theta Chapter, of Psl lota XI, held Initiation services at the Speedway Methodist Church, on Thursday June 25. New members being initiated were Linda Hibner, Linda Volte, Ruth Muir, and Teri Paton. From the church the group adjourned to the Flaming Hearth Restaurant for dinner. A pleasant evening was ended with entertainment by the new members.

Honor attendants were Mrs. James Keating of Speedway, as matron of honor, and the bride's sister, Miss Diane Anderson of Greencastle as bridesmaid. Their gowns were full length A-llne style pastel green Italian silk linen. The empire waist was fashioned with a belt accenting the front panel of the gown. They wore hose of pastel green with white faille slippers.Wrlst length gloves complemented their costumes. Mrs. James Keating carried a white straw basket filled with yellow carnations, yellow rosebuds and white daisies. The bridesmaid carried the same floral arrangement. Miss Kerry Keating of Indianapolis, attended as flower girl in a dress of pastel yellow silk linen fashioned like those of the attendants. All attendants wore headpieces delicately styled with yellow carnations and daisies. Attending as best man was Leslie Dean of Greencastle with Charles Holland, Greencastle, as junior attendant The ushers were James Keating, Speedway, brother of the bride; and the groom’s brother, Richard Anderson of Indianapolis. Preceding the ceremony a program of music was presented by Mrs. William McDonald of Speedway. Immediately following the wedding a reception was held

Miss Nancy Beer registered guests. The newlyweds leftforaweddlng trip to the Great Smoky Mountains, and will reside In Speedway upon their return. Mrs. Anderson was graduated from Speedway High School, attended Indiana State University, and Is presently employed at Methodist Hospital. Her husband has completed four years In the U.S. Navy, and Is currently employed in the Security Division at Wler Cook Airport.
