World Of High Octane
Speedway Sports And Y A-41 Track News by F. H., Jr. Raise your glasses ana arink a toast to AL UN SER, new winner of the Indy “500”. To all his crew, GEORGE BIGNOTTI, chief mechanic with four winners in ten years. CHARLIE TABUCCI, engine builder par excellence for both AL & JOE LEONARD’S beautiful running engines and to the rest of the gang who worked together to bring home a winner. It certainly is surprising that a nation so up in arms about environmental pollution can leave such a mess of litter and garbage as they did over the race weekend in the Motor Speedway and along the roads leading to it. I wonder how many tons of trash and garbage MR. CAGLE has hauled out of the track? Remember when going to sporting events don’t be a litter bug. Put your trash in containers provided for it. Don’t leave someone else’s property like others did to our town of Speedway. Basketball and racing now over HIGH OCTANE will start reporting more on our local sports. Start looking forthose great Little League baseball games on the Speedway Park ball diamonds. The kids play great baseball.
