Summer Programs At The Speedway Public Library

Summer programming at the Speedway Public Library will begin on Wednesday, June 10, and continue through June and July.. The two thirty minute programs will include one at 1:30, a story time, tor pre-schoolers 4 years old and over. At 2:30 there will be another 30 minute program for school age children. Reservations are not necessary for either group. Other special programs this summer will include movies and classical music story

Spring Sports Banquet Held

Wednesday, May 27, l»Tu tne Speedway Lions Club sponsored their annual spring Sports Banquet. After a very good Filet Mignon dinner, president of the Lions Club, James Mattis started the program and Merle Cox, master of ceremonies, introduced the guests.
