ST. CHRISTOPHER'S CATHOLIC CHURCH (Continued from Pane 1) Edwin Schowe of St. Mary’s, Anderson will be married to Carol Ann Fieber of St. Christopher at 11 o’clock Saturday morning at St. Christopher Catholic Church. Richard Tuttle and Barbara Faris, both of St. Christopher will be married at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, August 16th, at St. Christopher Catholic Church. (Please note the time, as an error was made in last Sunday’s Bulletin.) Your prayers sire requested for the repose of the soul of Mrs. Philomena E. Muenier, Brownsburg, who died Sunday morning and was buried Tuesday morning at a Requiem Mass at St. Malachy, Brownsburg. Mrs. Muenier was formerly a member of St. Christopher. Sister Marie Francene Pella of St. Christopher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Pella, 5911 Schoolwood Drive, was one of the novices who made a two-year commitment to the Congregation at the Motherhouse of the Sister of St. Francis, Oldenburg on Tuesday, August 12th. Archbishop Schulte was the celebrant at the Community Mass at 6:45 a.m. and presided at the commitment ceremony for the novices during the 10:30 a.m. Mass following. Sister Marie Francene will teach the first grade at St. Mary’s parish school in Greenburg, Indiana. Sister Victoria Mandabach, formerly of St. Christopher, now of St. Gabriel, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Mandabach, 3120 North Auburn, was one of the novices who made a two-year-com-mitment to the Congregation at the Motherhouse of the Sisters of St. Francis, Oldenburg on Tuesday, August 12th. Hall before leaving for the First Christian Church at Lafayette, where they will sing at 7:30 p.m. The chancel flowers for next Sunday will be given by Mrs. Helen Dickerson in memory of Mr. Charles Dickerson. The Fifth Graders have made a wall display of our church’s missions in other countries, and also the home missions. Anyone desiring to see this display is welcome to stop by the Fifth Grade room, No. 205. “Knowing the Living God” will be presented Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, August 19, 20, and 21, from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m., in the Bethany Room. Textbook is furnished; child care provided. Call Rev. Vermillion or the church office to enroll. Fall Festival preparations continue each Wednesday at the Dotlich Farm. Current needs are pint and quart jars, jelly glasses. Also needed is sugar for persimmon pudding and apple butter. Ruth Circle needs articles for the white elephant booth, such as clothing, furniture, toys, dishes, jewelry, books, ceramics, etc. Place in the basket in church kitchen or call 244-2053 or 926-1133. The Executive Board of the Christian Women’s Fellowship will meet Thursday afternoon at 1:00 in the Jr. High Room. Back to College Sunday will be observed on August 31st. A letter will soon be mailed to our dollege-age young people enclosing a card which is to be filled out and returned to the office. The Sr. High C.Y.F. will have a picnic at Turkey Run on Saturday, August 23rd; it is open to all C.Y.F.’ers from freshmen to graduated seniors.
