SPEEDWAY CHRISTIAN CHURCH (Continued from Hao I) The Chancel flowers for Sunday will be given by Mr. Walter and Jim Dugger in memory of Mrs. Mildred Dugger. The Pastor’s Cabinet will meet Monday, July 7th, 7:30 p.m., in Room B-l. The Official Board will meet Tuesday, July Bth, 7:30 p.m., in Room B-l. All Board members are urged to attend these meetings regularly. Fall Festival preparation will continue each Wednesday at the Dotlich Farm, 1 mile south of Clermont. Turn left at the stop light. All ladies welcome to come sew, quilt, or other assorted jobs, and join in the fun and fellowship. The Golden Rule Fellowship will meet Thursday afternoon, July 10th, 1:30 p.m., in the Bethany Room. Where alleys are used, containers shall be placed back on the property and not in the alley. Contractor shall attach tags on containers which are in violation for any reason. In addition to above the contractor has agreed to pick up above if flaced in plastic bags. If above rules are not complied with effective July 1, 1969 your trash and garbage will not be picked up. Children's Museum A summer program filled with activities for all youngsters will begin next week at the Children’s Museum, 3010 N. Meridian. A Disney nature film, “Nature’s Half Acre,” will be shown Wednesday (July 2) at 11 a.m and 2 p.m., while a Disney adventure film, “The Great Locomotive Chase,” wll be shown at the same hours on Saturday, July 5. Both are free. A nature walk in Holliday Park has been scheduled for Wednesday (July 2) at 10 o’clock, and is the first of a series of Wednesday nature hikes in the city parks. Those wishing to participate should meet at the Holliday house. Craft workshops, for which pre-registration is necessary, will also begin next week. Tuesday’s classes will be ceramics and pottery, while on Thursdays weaving and basketry will be taught. Classes meet from 2 to 4 o’clock and a fee to cover cost of materials is charged. A series of live-animal programs will be given free at the museum each Tuesday and Thursday morning at 11 o’clock in July and August, while science experiments and demonstrations will take place in the museum’s science gallery at 2 p.m. each Tuesday through Saturday. Both are free. The museum’s cabin will be open from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday where a “pioneer" woman will show how household chores were done long ago. The Children’s Museum will be closed July 4th.
