A playoff game was held between the Pacers and the Sparkplugs for the fifth grade championship. The Sparkplugs won by a score of 2016. The sophomores defeated the juniors 49-45 in the consolation game. Speedway lost a close game to Darlington for the sectional championship at Lebanon last Saturday night. The Final s'-ore was 5654. The Sparkplugs had won from Wells 68-54 in their first game and then defeated Brebeuf 55-48 in the semi-final. Speedway Junior High Wrestling team has won a meet and lost a meet in competition the past week. Scores were: Speedway 41, Pike 16; and Mooresville 31, Speedway 21.

SPEEDWAY CHRISTIAN CHURCH (Continued from Poge I) A new course of study will be offered, beginning next Sunday, March 9th, from 9:00 to 10:30 aan., entiled “Knowing The Living God.” The same class will be held also on Wednesday mornings from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., and on Thursday evenings, from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. Child care is provided; also textbook. You may enroll by calling the church office, or at the first class session. It will be taught by Rev. Art Vermillion. There is no cost except commitment of time and energy. Some of the topics included are: “Faith First or Second Hand”, “Knowing and Being Known”, “Through Jesus Christ Our Lord”, “The Bible Record of Revelation”, “The Church—lts Mystery & Meaning”, “Sacred and Secular”, “The World God So Loved”, “Knowing and Doing the Truth”, and “Therefore Choose Life”. Individual and group discussion is encouraged. Sunday Evening Seminars will continue next Sunday evening: classes from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., snack supper from 6:30 to 7:00 pan. Newcomers are welcome for the remaining two sessions in all classes. Open House At Crossroads Crossroads Rehabilitation Center, 3242 Sutherland, will hold an open house March 16, 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. according to an announcement made today by Emory R. Baxter, president. Miss Kit Field, Miss Indiana, will be the guest of honor at the occasion which will highlight the 1969 Easter Seal campaign . The premiere of the new film, “Crossroads of Learning” will be held during the open house. The

film will be shown continually during the afternoon. Patient demonstrations will be held in each department and tours of the Center will be conducted by staff personnel and volunteers at regular intervals. The event is open to the public.
