The elementary students have made their own tree decorations along with other Christmas projects. Parents may wish to see these Christmas displays. Speedway placed third in the Pike Invitational Swim Meet last Saturday in which six Marion County schools were entered. In a dual meet with Pike earlier in the week, Speedway won 61-34. Speedway won wrestling meets with Plainfield the past week: the varsity score 30-25, and the reserves won 29-21. The Sparkplugs won a MidState Conference basketball game

The “A” team score was 58-32 and the “B” team score 36-15. In basketball games with Whiteland, Speedway’s eighth grade won 54-27 and the seventh grade lost 27-22.
