Speedway High School varsity yell leaders placed second in their division at the Indiana University Cheerleaders Conference held last Saturday. The Speedway Sparkplugs defeated the Plainfield Quakers 47-0 at Plainfield last week. After four losses, Speedway won five consecutive games to end the season with a winning margin. The Northwest freshmen defeated Spedway 13-0 in a recent game. LIBRARY NOTES: The Senior High School Library is open four late afternoons each week for the convenience of students and adults of Speedway. Hours are from 4:00 to 6:30 Monday through Thursday.
