A Word To The Lovely Lady ... And, I may add, a suggestion of how to stay LOVELY! The many means and methods we constantly attribute to our attractive appearance may not complete the picture or image of Beauty we so want to display. Of late, have you felt a tremendous amount of tension, pressure and frayed nerves? Has it occurad to you that this constant humidity along with the heat has given you an added burden to carry day after day. This weight on our person is bound to create an irritation within us, whether you realize this or not. We all expect a certain amount of heat during the summer months, but, this unusually heavy amount of dampness can become a strain on the body. Therefore, the loveliness begins to wane and turn our personalities into grouchy individuals. Now to change this image, under these circumstances, may take some effort, but, the result will be worth it. The damp hair, clinging to your neck and face, can become so much less of a problem if it is worn up, away from your neck or shaped into one of the very popuar short fashions. Wiglets are a tremendous asset to have on hand for instant Beauty when your own tresses have become defenceless under the humidity. Wiglets or any hair-piece, for that matter, do not become effected as easily when the air is damp. Make-up seems to disappear as you perspire and you have to face the world without your face. A slightly tinted powderbase astringent would be a perfect light covering to give you a finished foundation. Eye-make-up and blush can be purchased in powder form with a translucent effect for evening, and, will adhere to your skin more readily than creams in this weather. The natural look is quite predominent in the Fashion world today. Let’s Beat the Heat, Ladies, and, contain our loveliness under any circumstances. A person’s Beauty is displayed by their personality along with the outer attraction, and, it is up to you to control the aggravation this humidity is causing us. We do have beautiful Indian Summer to look forward to, and, our composure will once again be easier to control, the testiness will disappear and we can resume being our Glamouras and Charming selves. Sincerely, Claudia TRI KAPPA CANDLE BAZAAR OCT. 1-8-3
