SPEEDWAY METHODIST CHURCH Continued from Page 1 supposed to help man to live, but from what is said and what we hear it appears that all the old beliefs have been discredited.’ These are some of the queries in the minds of young and old alike today. They want answers? ‘ls there anything certain?’ ‘What few things can a man understand and believe?’ ‘Really, in spite of the complexity, is there at the heart of religion a ‘simple’ unchallengeable Gospel? We invite you to be present at worship on Sunday next (8:45 a.m. or 11:00 a.m.) as we examine this question . . . honestly! To those who are about to move out on vacation we extend our best wishes. To any who are visiting this community, or have come to live in it, we extend the hospitality and fellowship of our Church. You will be most welcome. Do you, t shock easily? >• Then don't worry when you walk into a Hook’s Drug Store—and past the newsstand. There, for a// to see, are books and magazines for everyone in the family. We’re not being prudish. We just have a greater respect for your good taste. For years. Hook's Drug Stores have sold only the finest most wholesome literature available. But If you shock easily, don’t browse through some of the books and magazines for sale on many public newsstands. Talk about the "morality gap” I And they're there for all to buy ... or just as bad, to look at. If this concerns you, why not make your objections known to those who continue to sell them ? Still you can always look to Hook's.. . first of all, family drug stores.
