Art Vermillion will install the new officers. All CYFers are urged to attend and demonstrate their support of the elected officers for 1968-69. C.W.F. Bible Study will continue in the Bethany Room at 9:00 a.m. All ladies are invited to attend. This is an excellent way to begin your week—all you have to do is get started! C.W.F. Workshop for all officers and committee chairmen will be held Monday evening, May 20th, at 7:30 p.m. This is important, for here it is that plans are made for the coming year; also, committee chairmen are briefed on their duties, and plans for joint circle enterprises are made. Attendance at this workshop will help insure coordinated, efficient work of the circles. Please try to attend. Vacation Church School Institute for training of VCS teachers from throughout Marion County will be held in our church Tuesday, May 21st, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. All VCS workers are urged to attend; child will be provided. NEEDED persons for child care for the Vacation Church Institute on Tuesday, May 21st. Please call the church office if you can help out time would be from 9:00 until about 2:30. Lois Circle will meet Tuesday, May 21st, in the Bethany Room, at 1:00 p.m. This will be a planning session for the year 1968-69. Hostesses are Mrs. Anna K. Hammer and Mrs. Imogene Craig. Choir rehearsals for the week: Motet Choir, 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday; Chancel Choir 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fall Festival Sewing continues each Wednesday at the Dotlich Farm from 9:00 to 3:00 approximately. All women of the church are cordially invited to come out and help on the projects there are jobs for all to do. Bring a sandwich for your lunch and work all day, or just come for part of the day as you can arrange it. You are needed you’ll enjoy it. C.W.F. Executive Committee will meet Wednesday, May 22nd, at 7:30 p.m., in the Jr. High Room. Service Day for The Little Red Door will be held on Thursday, May 23rd, from' 9:00 to 3:00. Joanna Circle is hostess. White goods for bandages is always needed. Bring a sandwich for your lunch and come spend the day in service, while enjoying the fellowship. Jr. High trip to Turkey Run State Park will be Saturday, June Ist. The bus will leave front of the church at 8:00 a.m. and return by 5:00 p.m. Cost of the trip will be $2:00. Reservations will close Sunday, May 26th, so call Mrs. Briggs at the church office, or at home, 244-5739, if you want to go. A sack lunch should be taken, plus any spending money needed. This will be the last get-together for this group until the fall season. A small coin purse with some money in it was found on the upper floor on Easter Sunday, following the 11 o’clock service. If the owner can identify or describe the purse, he may obtain possession from the church office.

God’s Housekeepers tomorrow and Saturday are Pat Schanlon, Rosemary McCullough, Joyce Wiseman, Kathleen Kulaga, Beverly Bailey, Veronica Fetherlin, and Everlyn Curto. Members of the Holy Name Society will receive corporate Holy Communion at the 8 o’clock Mass Sunday, May 19th. Immediately following the Mass, breakfast of coffee and doughnuts will be served in the school dining room. On the program for the meeting following the breakfast is the election of officers. St. Christopher’s Men’s Slo-Pitch Softball will have their first game Sunday, May 19th, at 4:00 p.m. They will play Little Flower at Riverside No. 4. They would appreciate some rooters. Literature on Muscatatuck "Chapel for the Children” at Butlerville, Indiana, was distributed Sunday at all the Masses, as well as envelopes into which contributions for “bricks” for the Chapel may be placed. After the Communion of the Masses Sunday. May 19th, these contributions will be taken up at St. Christopher. At Muscatatuck, there are approximately two thousand retarded children of different religions or no religion at all. LaLst year, $200,000 was donated toward the Chapel, which will also house separate rooms for study and guidance. Now the Muscatatuck Church Foundation, Inc., which is made up of interested organizations Sunday School Classes, Church Groups, Women’s Clubs, Circles, and Service Organizations, is asking for $250,000 more to complete their work. A Protestant Minister is in charge of the drive. At the present time, there is one resident Roman Catholic priest and two other Christian ministers there. Father Lindemann will be in Owensboro, Kentucky Saturday and Sunday attending the ordination of his nephew, Reverend David Lindemann, at the Owensboro Cathedral Saturday and his first Mass Sunday. The Reverend Mr. Lindemann will be remembered as the young man who has helped at St Christopher this past year on Sundays, giving out Communions and helping at the rectory. He may be addressed to the St. Stephen Cathedral, residence 614 Locust Street Owensboro, Kentucky, 42302.
