SPEEDWAY METHODIST CHURCH Continued from Page 1 wrong to us. In this second sermon we shall really be considering resentment against life and resentment against God. There are many people who feel that they have good reason to bear a grudge against life in general. Life has been far from easy for them and many of their hopes have crumbled and they have seen many of their dreams crumble. But life has to be lived. Really the only life that we have is the one that we now live and we cannot waste away the present dreaming about what might have been. We need to learn the art of acceptance and the truth that God takes us as we are and will use what we are able to offer at any one moment. Further, whatever happens and however badly our own plans seem to go astray finally God will not be defeated. We would like to invite you to join with us for our worship this coming Sunday. We do draw your attention to the alteration in our worship service schedule and our church school schedule as from Sunday next. The first service will commence at 8:45 and the second as usual at 11 a.m. During both services there will be nursery facilities available. Church school, however, will take place from 9:50-10:50 a.m. for adults, senior high, junior high, and grades 1-6. There will be the usual infant, nursery, and kindergarten facilities during this hour. Then again during the second worship service period from 11 to 12 a.m. there will be church school for grades 1-6 with Infant, nursery, and kindergarten facilities. The third session in the present series of Membership Preparation Classes will take place at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday Next at Fellowship Hall. We invite all who wish to proceed towards membership to join with us at this time.
