A WORD TO THE LOVELY LADY. Isn’t iZstrange of how aware we are of skin care and hair protection during the summer months and ignore the abuse the harshness winter weather .performs upon us? Many forms of home or office heat take so much moisture out of the air that a tremendous drying effect become very obvious just about this time of the season, and, left without restrain or care, the determent takes quite a bit of undoing! Many of you think you may have developed a case of dandruff, and, begin to use all sorts of dandricides to combat the condition. The most probable answer is dry scalp due to the heating device and also, due to the constant headgear worn to protect against the cold, giving the scalp very little fresh air. Of course, the unsightly flaking on clothes is cause for alarm. A short hairstyle giving you the opportunity to brush or run your fingers through your hair daily instead of wearing your hair very highly teased rendering little or no circulation to the scalp, would possibly solve the flaking problem. You may consult with your nearby beauty salon for a dry scalp treatment, which will check the problem. A treatment for dandruff is not directed towards clearing up dry scalp and your efforts would be wasted in that area. Then, of course, follow up with the care aforementioned.
I am sure if you have the proceeding scalp condition, your skin is reacting the same towards this weather, and, it stands to reason that extra care must be taken against dryness. Special formulas in your bath and after drying are a necessity for a radiant skin from head to toe! This is also, the answer for preparation for the summer months ahead . . . the skin that is taken care of properly during the winter season is ready for that lovely tan in the summer. Starting skin care at the height of the summer season is a hopeless endeavor and the suntan you admire on the beach beauties will only be a fantasy for you! The complexion exposed to the harsh, wintry winds may feel fresh and delightful, but, the effects are a hindertnce towards keeping a youthful glow at all times. These simple hints to overcome winter wear and tear may help your situation and are certainly worth a try for the LOVELY LADY .... Sincerely, Claudia
