The chancel flowers will be given by Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Gray in memory of thmr parents. Youth Worims Conference will be held at 10:45 aan. in the sophomore room of the Sr. High Department next Sunday morning. All teachers, workers, sponsors, and superintendents are urged to attend this session which will feature a film “Heritage to Destiny” a refresher course in our church’s history and heritage. Please bring questions and problems you would like to have as topics for future conferences. Sr. Hi CYF will meet at 5 pan. Sunday evening, November 19th, in Fellowship Hall. Subject for study will be “How the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) Began and What It Stands For”. An outstanding motion picture “Heritage to Destiny” uses charcoal drawings and film dips of civil war and western scenes in depicting the beginnings of our church. This is fitting in that our church is the largest church today which began hare in the U.SJU right here in the middle west. Worship, recreation, and refreshments complete the evening’s agenda. C.W.F. Bible Study group win meet Monday morning, B.'OO to 10:00 a an., in the Bethany Room. AU ladies of the church are invited to participate in this period of Bible study and meditation. Choir rehearsals for Thanksgiving Week Monday. Boys Choir, 3:30 to 4:30 pan.; Tuesday, Chancel Choir, 7:30 to 9:30 jm; Wednesday, Motet Choir, 6:00 to 7:00. A Union Thanksgiving Service wiH be held at John Knox Presbyterian Church at 7:30 p.nu Wednesday, November 22nd. The Christian Women’s Fellowship is sponsoring church-wide participation in the “white gifts for. Wheeler Mission” program during November. AB Circles bring gifts of canned goods for Wheeler Mission, and once again a box is placed in the north hall of the church for the convenience of anyone in the congregation who wishes to bring a contribution. Any kind of canned goods is acceptable. This is a worthwhile project and one in which anyone in the church can have a part. This food will be taken to Wheeler Mission for a Christmas Dedication Service to be held on December Ist. Christmas is just around the corner! Jr. Hi’ers still have some cans of Golden Crumbles for sale. Another gift suggestion is the Anniversary Plate with our church picture on it. These may be obtained from Mrs. Fae Mitchell, 5034 W. 15th Street. Watch for the opening of the Santa Shop out at the Dotlich Farm on December Sth! Many Christmas items made for the Fall Festival are still available and will be displayed and sold when the Santa Shop opens from noon to six p.m. on December 6 and 8, and from noon to nine pan. on December 7th.

CHRISTOPHHTS CATHOLIC CHURCH (Continued from Page 1) All Catholic High Schools will administer their Entrance Examinations to all eighth graders on Saturday, November 18th, at 9:00 a.m. at their respective schools. Academic Scholarships will be awarded. There will also be an Entrance Examination for the Latin School at the school bn Saturday morning, November 18th, at 9:00 a.m. All Junior CYO’s will receive corporate Holy Communion at the 10 o’clock Mass Sunday, November 19th. Pews will be reserved in the front of the Church. After the Mass, CYO’s favorite breakfast of donuts, coffee or milk will be served in the school dining room. An Order of Mission Sisters will be happy to receive any offerings which may be given them for their work after the Communion of the Mass at all the Masses Sunday, November 19th. Christmas cards, wrappings, ribbons, seals and Holiday novelties, as well as cookies and candies, will be on sale Saturday, November 18th, by the ladies of the Altar Society and CYO girls. They will also be on sale Sunday, November 19th, after the 10 o’clock Mass and the 11:30 Mass. St. Christopher CYO will sponsor a Westside Thanksgiving dance on Wednesday night, November 22nd, from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the Westside K. of C. on Country Club Road. All CYO units of Westside parishes are invited. Congratulations to our girls for winning in the annual Citywide Baking Contest on Sunday, November sth. Nancy Schirtziner took top honors for the entire city and Jeannette White placed fifth in the pie division. God’s Housekeepers this week-end will be Rita Springer, Jean Herrick, Betty O’Neal, Mary Ellen Arthur, Barbara Tellmann, Nancy Grant, and Lois Davenport. At 6:15 on Monday morning, Father Kessler said a Mass for Agnes Shaw at the request of Frank and Nola Medenwald. The Mass at 8 o’clock remembered Mary Gibbs at the request of the Gibbs children. Mary Gibbs was again remembered in the early Mass on Tuesday morning at the request of the John R. Eaton family. Midge and Kay Eddelman asked that the late Mass be said for Henry Rosner. Ward Killkenny was remembered in the 6:15 Mass on Wednesday morning. Bud and Arline Wagner requested the Mass. Joseph Beberdick was remembered in the 8 o’clock Mass.
