SPEEDWAY CHRISTIAN CHURCH Continued from case 1 Cherie Collins. Sunday Evening Seminars begin Sunday, October Bth, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Child care will be provided. This Series is planned for adults, and consists of three sessions: “Jesus Christ Twentieth Century”; “Current Trends in Theology”, and “Answering Children’s Questions”, all taught by capable and experienced persons. Call the church office and make your choice of class known there is no charge. These are planned for YOU don't miss this opportunity. Sr. High C.Y.F. Sunday evening, 5:00 p.m. CYF’ers be at the church promptly at 5 o’clock. Program includes miniature golf at the 56th Street Course, worship, refreshments, and study a choral reading entitled “Difficulty in Being Myself.” If you can drive to the golf course, please notify the Wisslers Sunday morning. C.W.F. Bible Study will continue Monday morning, 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. in the Bethany Room. Choir Rehearsals: Boys’ Choir Monday, 3:30 to 4:30; Angelus and Motet Choirs on Wednesday, 3:30 to 4:15 and 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. respectively; Chorale and Chancel Choirs on Thursday, 3:30 to 4:30 and 7:30 to 9:30 pun. respectively. Pastor’s Cabinet will meet Monday, October 9th, 7:30, in Room B-l. Official Board will meet Tuesday, October 10th, 7:30 p.m., in Room B-l. 6; Speedway frshmen won over Brownsburg 26 -13; Speedway eighth grade won their game with Brownsburg 13-7; and Speedway seventh grade won over Ben Davis 39-0. Speedway varsity cross-country team placed fifth among the ten schools participating in the Broad Ripple Invitational Meet held last Saturday. Speedway reserves and freshmen placed third in their respective divisions of the meet. Speedway won a cross country meet with Greenwood and Plainfield last week. Varsity scores were: Speedway 21, Green, wood 46, Plainfield 59. Reserve scores were: Speedway 23, Plainfield 37, Greenwood 62.

CHURCH TO SPONSOR SCOUT TROOP ■> Trinity United Church of Christ, now meeting at St. Luke's United Church of Christ, 5360 W. 16th. Street, until such time as their own building is erected at 6102 W. 38th Street, has announced their sponsorship of a new Boy Scout Troop. The troop will be set up under the direction of the Central Indiana Boy Scout Council.
