ANGELS WITH ANGLES “Angels with Angles” might be a more appropriate title for Samuel and Bella Spewack’s play, “My Three Angels”, which will launch the 1967-67 Speedway Student Theater season. The Angels, as it turns out, are three convicts who infest (along with pet poisonous snake, Adolphe) the household of singularly honest merchant in topical, French Guiana. The hilarity which ensues is a result of the convicts’ tampering with the domestic dilemmas of Merchant Ducatel’s household. The roles Of the convicts are quite capably filled by Preston Sinks, Doug Rosebrock, and Denny Smith. The ingenue is portrayed by Nancy Cassidy. Supporting roles are filled by Roger Hershberger as Unde Henri, Eric DeWeese as Paul, Cathy Hutchison as Emily Ducatel, Bruce Frazer as Felix Ducatel, and Linda Hodge as Madame Parole. The production is under the direction of Mr. Andrew Wagner. The assistant director is Pam Wegener; Bob Higbie is stage manager. Tickets for the production will go on sale next week, with performances scheduled Thursday, October 19 at 3:45 and Saturday, October 21 at 8:00 p.m.
