Advance registration for Vacation Church School will continue next Sunday at three locations: the north hall, the east narthex door, and the Christian Education office. Sr. High C.Y.F. “Welcome Fresmmen” Picnic will be held Sunday, July 9th, at The Shades Park. Girls are to bring a covered dish and boys a cartoon of soft drinks; everyone bring own table service. Plan to leave the church at 12:30 and return between 8 and 9 p.m. C.W.F. Bible Study will continue Monday, July 10th, in Room 206, from 9 to 10 a.m. Every woman of the church and community is welcome to attend. Pastor’s Cabinet will meet Monday, July 10th, in Room B-l, at 7:30 p.m. Fall Festaval Sewing will continue on Wednesdays through the summer from 9:00 to 3:00 at the Dotlich Farm. Quilters are needed especially, but there are jobs for everyone. Take a day off from your summer routine and come spend the day with the Fall Festival workers. If you need a ride, call the church office. The Golden Rule Fellowship will meet Thursday, July 13th, at 1:30 p.m. in the Bethany Room. Hostess circle is the Miriam Circle. Miss Verna McGee will give the devotions, and the program will be “The Will of God is Love” given by Mrs. Esther McKitrick. Chancel Choir will rehearse Thursday night from 8 to 9 p.m. You may bring your gift of canned goods for Wheeler Mission to the church any time during the Month of July. A box is located in the north hall for this purpose. Wheeler City Rescue Mission depends upon these gifts from the churches to assist them in their work. We know you will want to help.

PERSONALS Four students of Marion Co. have been selected to participate in the Indiana University-Purdue University Foreign Study Program, which includes an academic year’s study at one of four European universities-Strasbourg, France; Hamburg, Germany; Madrid, Spain, or Bologna, Italy. The I.U. students, who will be joined by students from Purdue and other universities, will sail in mid-August for LeHavre, France. Each group will spend approximately six weeks at Le Harve in a special language training program before starting work at their respective universities. Students will earn from 30 to 36 semester hours of credit. Participants will return to the U.S. in mid-1968.

North Manchester, Indiana Mr. Charles Jordan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard C. Jordan, 1658 Christopher Lane, Speedway will be one of nine Manchester College, Indiana students to do their junior year of study abroad next year. He will study at PhilippsUniversitat, Marburg / Lahn in Western Germany. The year abroad will begin with a two month language institute followed by two semesters of study separated by a six week vacation for travel or independent study. Jordan is a graduate of Speedway High School.

According to a letter from Father Richart which Father Lindemann read at his Masses Sunday, Father Richart is finding himself very busy with CYO and Holy Name activities, marriages and instructions. As Father Lindemann said, “service in the Catholic Church is the same everywhere.” Mrs. Nora Beville is at Winona Hospital, Room 310 D, for tests. You may dial her direct, 927-2640. Mrs. Bernie McCarty was admitted to St. Vincent Hospital Sunday, June 25th, for surgery. She is in room 364 A. Mr. McCarty said that she was pretty good and that she would be home soon. Tomorrow night the school bus will leave in back of school at 7:15 p.m. to take CYO members to the Summer Dance at St. Hoch’s Dancing will be in the schoolyard from 8:00 until 11:00 p.m. There will be door prizes and refreshments. Admission one dollar and CYO membership card. CYO Swimming Meets coming up: Sub-Novice Meet at Brookside Park Swimming Pool Monday, July 10th. Meet starts at 6:00 p.m. Junior CYO Meet, for more experienced swimmers, at Broad Ripple Swimming Pool on Monday and Tuesday, July 17 and 18. Tentative times from 5:45 to 9:30 p.m. All CYO members went swimming last night at Westwood Club.
