ST. CHMSTOPHBTS CATHOLIC CHURCH (Continued from Page 1) The 10 o’clock Mass Sunday will be sung by the CYO Choir. It will be the traditional folk Mass. Rev. Raymond A. Kessler, newly ordained priest, will be the new assistant pastor of St. Christopher parish and high school instructor as of Tuesday, May 3rd, replacing Rev. Paul Richart who has been drafted into the Armed Forces. Rev. Kessler is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray A. Kessler of St. Andrew’s parish, Indianapolis. Joseph Burke, Richard Carroll, Joseph Gibson, Phillip E. Sweeney and Kenneth Thomas of St. Christopher are five of the fiftyseven men who will be honored soon at a meeting of the Indianapolis District Council of Catholic Men for having completed a perfect attendance the past year as members of the Nocturnal Adoration Society. Members of the Nocturnal Society spend one hour in prayer each month before the Blessed Sacrament on the evening of First Friday and the following morning until 6:00 a.m. The men of St. Christopher adore at St. Michael’s Church. Leonard F. Benedetto of St. Christopher was elected treasurer of the Serra Club Monday night, May Bth, for the year 1967-1968. He will assume office at the first meeting in June. The Serra Club is a group of Indianapolis Catholic Men who help foster vocations for religious lives. Mr. Benedetto is the only Westside member. Father Richart wishes to thank all the parishioners and all his friends who attended the reception in his honor on last Sunday night and for their generous gifts of appreciation. He also wishes to thank all the workers who made the reception possible And to thank publicity Father Lindemann, his pastor, who “engineered” the whole affair. At 6:15 on Monday morning, Father Richart said the Mass for Raymond Kelley at the request of Mr. and Mrs. Otto. The 8 o’clock Mass was said for David Nelson at the request of Elaine Viele. The early Mass on Tuesday morning remembered Mary Elizabeth Gibboney. The Gibboney family requested the Mass. Father Lindemann said the late Mass for William Stewart. Philip and Barbara Link requested the Mass. On Wednesday morning at 6:15, Philip and Barbara Link asked that the Mass be said for Irene Link. The Frank Medenwald family asked that the 8 o’clock Mass be said for the deceased members of the Fred Medenwald family. Joseph Beberdick was remembered in the early Mass this morning at the request of Elizabeth Beberdick. The later Mass was said according to the intention of Patricia Ratcliff at the request of Michael Ratcliff. Tomorrow morning the 6:15 Mass will be said for Eileen Harrold.
