Butler University win serve as the host for the three-day conference which is expected to attract noted Greek and Roman scholars hroughout the United States. Meetings win be held in the Claypool Hotel and Robertson Memorial Chapel at Butler. Dr. Alexander E. Jones, Butler president, win welcome the group at its 7 p.m. banquet Friday, (March 31) in the Claypool Hotel The principal address win be given by William H. Willis of Duke University, Classical Association president. Dr. Vergil E. Hiatt, professor of classical languages and archaeology and head of the department at Butler, is chairman of the committee on local arrangements.
